In its 11th year, Educators’ Week has continued to bring high quality workshops to educators at every level. This combined with the rich history and natural resources found in the Hocking Hills region in Ohio, allows us to provide a unique hands-on learning experience.
Throughout the week, participants will explore best practice strategies for introducing people to the natural world and the current issues associated with it. Through lectures, hikes, activities, conversations, and experiments participants will be encouraged to broaden their knowledge and learn techniques that will help them improve their skills as an educator. Using their professional expertise and experience, top naturalists and educators from around the state will facilitate sessions using local resources. Sessions will provide opportunities to gain an understanding of topics related to state standards by immersing the participants in a natural setting and a stimulating learning environment.
Mark your calendars for this year’s event taking place June 2-7, 2019.
